Hoemana, an outrigger canoe club established in 2021 and one of 15 canoe clubs in the Moku of Hawaii Outrigger Canoe Racing Association, is hosting its second annual Long-Distance Race on May 4, 2024. The event name of the long-distance race is the Kai Kukini (Sea Sprinter). 

The race event will be held at Spencer Beach Park, Kawaihae, island of Hawaii, and will include 8-10-mile race events for koa and non-koa canoes for age groups 18 and under, and adults through ages 70. The race event will attract paddlers, coaches, and families from 14 other canoe clubs on the island, and paddlers from around the State.

Presently, we are offering prospective donors five levels of sponsorship: Diamond – $10,000; Platinum – $9,999 to $5,000; Gold – $4,999 to $2,000; Silver – $1,999 to $500; and Bronze – $499 to $100. 

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and will recognize all our sponsors on our race website and at the race.
